ABOUT 2BAM
Two Birds Art Mag (2BAM) is a part of final-year student, Teri Prince, major project. 2BAM is a free online art magazine focusing on artists who work or are from the Merseyside region. It invites the reader to look at the constantly evolving local art scene offering a viewing platform for both established and emerging artists to display their work outside of a typical exhibition.
It features conversations with several artists on their creative process, sources of inspiration, and ongoing projects. While showcasing artists, 2BAM highlights current and upcoming exhibitions in local museums and galleries and events to provide readers with information on when and where they can experience art in person.
The Magazine is housed on this website to be accessible for all and more environmentally conscious. 2BAM serves as a source of inspiration for artists and art lovers but also contributes to the promotion and appreciation of the arts in Merseyside.
Its first issue is due to be released on 31st March 2024

Meet the Student Behind the Madness
Hi! I'm Teri, I'm 23 and I am a 3rd year student at LJMU studying BA (Hons) History of Art and Museum Studies. I was tasked to design my own project by my course taking any form I wished, so here we are, Two Birds Art Mag. I have always been passionate about art and even create my own in my spare time (but I tend to leave it to the professionals). Although, I have been told I do take a good photograph.
For the past 12 months, I have been working within the Royal Liverpool University Hospital, to move and place artworks from the old hospital to the new. I have also catalogued and digitised photographs in LJMU's Special Collections and Archive for their 200th anniversary. I hope to do a post-graduate degree at some point and perhaps go into archiving. Enough about me for now, I hope you enjoy and take part in this exciting project!
